Pregnancy & Postpartum
Pregnancy is one of the most special moments in life. This retreat will help women to take good care of themselves in pregnancy and postpartum.
It has been once said, that "the moment a child is born, the mother is also born. She never existed before" (Rajneesh, or also known as Osho). We believe that the motherhood journey starts earlier than that, namely when a woman only starts thinking about conceiving or when she gets to know she is pregnant. Therefore we welcome to this retreat also women who are only planning to become mothers.
We will guide the retreat based on the principles of Ayurveda and we structure the activities based on the main three themes:
connect with the mother inside you
connect with the child inside you
(prepare for) labour and postpartum
Activities include meditation, breathing techniques for each phase, simple yoga exercises, guide to nourishing foods, journaling prompts, guidance for labour and postpartum.
